Thank you for your interest in the Patient Scheduling Users Group (PSUG).
The following is a brief description of our group and the criteria required to join.
Our primary mission is to support our membership by sharing ideas and helping to solve issues as well as to develop an influential relationship with GE Health Care (IDX) to further enhance the GE Health Care Scheduling Application.
The PSUG by-laws require all organizations to be:The PSUG group has organizations on Flowcast, Xtend GUI, Xtend for the WEB and Character Cell.
If your organization meets the above criteria, you are eligible to petition for membership. Our maximum number of member organizations for membership is 25. Please submit your petition for membership to Janet Butner at jbutner@wfubmc.edu.
Each organization may bring two representatives to each meeting, with only one vote. Each organization is expected to attend at least two out of three meetings a year; Spring, Summer, or Fall. Our meetings are held during the Strategic Network User Group (SNUG) and the GE Health Care National Conference in Boston.
There are no membership dues or geographical restrictions for membership. However, organizations are expected to host meetings. New organizations are not required to host a meeting within the first year of membership. The hosting schedule rotates through membership and is agreed upon by the members at large. The average cost to host a meeting is $1,000.00. To control the cost, the spring and fall meetings are hosted by two organizations and the summer meeting is hosted by three organizations.
If you feel you meet the criteria for membership and your organization would like to join PSUG, please send me an email to the above link. Please state why you would like to be considered for membership, what you would bring to the group and what you hope to take away. Include a brief description of your organization and support structure. Your petition for membership will be presented at the next PSUG meeting where we will review all petitions for membership and vote. Following acceptance into the group, you will receive an official welcome and all pertinent information.
Thanks again for your interest in our group. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at the above email link, or call me at (336) 716-6600.
